Colloque international : AFRITS

Le colloque d’ouverture du programme de recherche AFRITS “Ancient Feasts and Rituals (Iconographic and Textual Studies)” a pour vocation de rassembler toute la documentation relative à la fête-Sed et de l’analyser, afin d’apporter des clés de compréhension du contenu de cette fête et de son déroulement.
À la suite du colloque, un « training workshop » a ouvert la discussion entre les chercheurs afin de structurer l’outil de référence du programme de recherche AFRITS, la base de données DESERTS (Database of Egyptian Sed-Festival & Ritual Texts and Scenes. A Comprehensive Collection of Material relating to the ritual Texts and Scenes in Ancient Egypt and Nubia from Prehistory to Late Antiquity).
The opening conference of the research program AFRITS “Ancient Feasts and Rituals (Iconographic and Textual Studies)” aims to gather and analyse all the data relating to the Sed-Festival in order to find some clues to understand its content and sequence.
A training workshop after the conference opened up the discussion among the invited researchers on the structure of the main tool of the research program AFRITS, the database DESERTS (Database of Egyptian Sed-Festival & Ritual Texts and Scenes. A Comprehensive Collection of Material relating to the ritual Texts and Scenes in Ancient Egypt and Nubia from Prehistory to Late Antiquity).
